Upland Bird Hunting at Willow Pond Farm is now being run by Ron Burda. Ron has been training dogs for nearly 30 years as an all breed trainer for both field and water events. Ron is currently involved in the A.K.C. hunt test and N.A.V.H.D.A. testing system. As a breeder of award winning littler of German Shorthairs, Ron and his wife volunteer their time to G.S.P. rescue where they help place German Shorthair Pointers in loving and caring homes. He is the instructor for basic obedience classes at two major animal hospitals in Western Pennsylvania, and also gives dog training seminars at the Cabela's retail store in Wheeling, WV. Ron has managed a 100 run boarding facility as well as owned and operated his own hunting preserve for seven years. Ron and his wife Deborah, a veterinarian technician, have just opened their own kennel and training facility just minutes from our hunting grounds.
